At Magnolia's End

today is my birthday.
a bit of rain started the day, but it didn't dampen my blueberry pancakes. I mean, what is better than going out for breakfast? the sun broke out on a lovely autumn day as I puttered around the house. the hubs finished his workday (a light load for me) and we ventured off to the new organic grocery near by. (I can be low maintenance at times!) before I knew it we were off to an early dinner at a cute new Italian restaurant on the Square. we watched the vendors setting up for the fine arts show this weekend as we ate our dinner, chatting about this and that. coming home, sipping a glass of wine - swinging on the front porch, life is good.
now can a day get any better? only with a piece of pumpkin pie (my choice of birthday cake). coming right up.
