my turn

been playing games this week. one good day. one not so much. leapfrogging emotions and endless hours.

monday good. cleaned the house post (almost) finished construction. most of the boxes are emptied. albeit the closets are hidey holes for the rest. but making good progress.

tuesday not so much. power outage reeked havoc on my computer. plans to work on a project for a friend was delayed. and no access to the internet left me in withdrawal. and oh so cranky.

wednesday lunch with my old new found bff and project friend was wonderful. lots of talk. laughter. good girl stuff. and an evening meeting with our local gardening group (lovingly called the Sweet Peas) ended the day perfectly.

thursday a very long day. missed a friend's birthday. two difficult meetings. the hub's car got backed into. the Rangers loss in the 12th inning. added up to a wretched day.

friday today. I am looking forward to the upswing. leaping out of the seat in midair. cooler temps have arrived. I'm pulling out the uggs. my sweaters. headed to Ikea for some shopping therapy. and determined to finish my closets over the weekend.
