as I sit in a sunny spot in my little back room, I am listening to the hubs taking a lesson. he's onto his second Rosetta Stone course. this one in Chinese. me oh my, that man can do amazing things. me? I am still limping through my French. determined. but rather hopeless. but determined (if I say it twice - I'll convince myself).

another roller-coaster week. ups. downs. a week-long headache that is finally subsiding (thank goodness). a busy week at work. volunteer projects (moving at a snail's pace). a lovely long-overdue day out with a friend. and today, after his lesson, an outing to a antique warehouse sale - high hopes (which means I won't find a darn thing).

have a million-ish projects in the works. outside and in. the 100-year plan now up to 137 years. but all fun in their own right. challenging. adventurous. determined (third times a charm, she says).
