the book of life

life is too short to worry about things you cannot change. situations you cannot control. little bumps and curves in the road that throw you off course. that little light bulb came on over my head yesterday. click.

life is too precious to not enjoy and savor every day. moments are fleeting. time flies whether your having fun or not. and while every minute does not need to be merry and bright they should not be wasted on gloomy thoughts and what ifs. click.

life is too wondrous to squander in fear. and here I go again. choose love baby. I told you yesterday I was reminded of this during my little funk. and as I thought more about it and had a chance to talk through my fretting the reality was that it was simply pointless to be funky. click.

life is beautiful. I see my life as a book. chapters unfolding. new adventures. a heroine. her hero. a band of merry fellows. peril. pitfalls. sunny skies. starry nights. rainbows. a pot of gold. and happy endings.

Kelly Rae Roberts posted a picture of a Starbucks window. I love the message. 'stories are gifts ... share.' life is full of stories. share life. give a gift.

'I hope you will go out and let stories happen to you, and that you will work them, water them with your blood and tears and your laughter till they bloom, till you yourself burst into bloom.'

I can't ever express adequately how uplifting and thought provoking your words are. I always look forward to your posts. Tey make me strive to be more joyful, kinder, and a better person. Your "nagging" is good. Keep it up and I might emerge a better friend for you. See you in the New Year!!!!
(Okay, did I embarass you with my gushing praise? Consider it a character builder.)
