life is better with a little butter

Paula Deen was cooking yesterday afternoon when I was flipping through the channels. she was making breakfast. I love breakfast. I love to go out for breakfast. something about that meal and time of day. a perfect combination. especially when you mix in some company. but I digress.

Paula was making what she called a 'one-eyed sailor'. a piece of bread with a circle cut out and an egg fried in the center. so I was adventurous this morning and made a little 'as seen on tv' breakfast for Chaz, the hubs and I. eggs & toast combined. pretty tasty. a side of bacon. even better. a little concoction of oj and champagne, and it borders on perfection.
