Sunday

day three. all quiet on the western front. everyone here is fighting a cold ... which means we'll be bring home a souvenir of sniffs and coughs. all in all a small price to pay for a welcome bevy of hugs and kisses.

the day was spent at home. drinking tea. eating sandwiches from The Oinkster (a local legend known for its pastrami sandwiches). watching pro-football. playing scrabble. catching up. telling tales. watching precious baby. and believe you me, it is easy to while away the hours watching a laughing baby.

now the sun has set. it is time for dinner. a glass of wine. baby baths. bedtime stories. twinkle lights. amen.

'who is rich? he who rejoices in his portion.'
